 Exploration of Self

June 9 -11th, 2023

Our ENLIVENhere island get away is designed with the intentions of relaxation, discovery and joy.  Aldermarsh Retreat Center shares its beauty in nature with easy walks through the grounds and across the marsh leading you to the warm & bright studio. Here you discover through the teachings of Ayurveda and the weave of the Koshas to release the tensions in your whole body.

‚ÄčThe weekend offers the time to harmonize & root leaving you with the tools to find peace within yourself and others as you continue your journey within your vessel.

Amy will lead & teach the Ayurveda principles with the blend of the Koshas.

Ayurveda is based on the idea of balance within our bodily systems and uses diet, herbal treatment, and yogic breathing as the key practices. Our Koshas are our five subtle layers (sometimes referred as sheaths or veils) that that make up the whole Self.  Weaving these two studies provide a deeper view of Self and real tools to take off the mat to maintain and enliven our daily lives.

With this retreat, Amy offers you an opportunity to rest, restore & rejoice with:

  • Ayurveda 101 and corresponding E-Book & Journal

  • a brief review of the Koshas & how you will apply the subtle practices

  • nurturing gentle yoga, mantra and yoga nidra meditations

  • a Himalayan Singing Bowl Sound Bath Saturday evening with Gail Kronberg

  • revitalizing your spirit with walks through the Organic Garden & Grounds

  • contentment (& laughter) in the Japanese Soaking Tub and Cordwood Sauna

  • nourishing organic cuisine & Ayurveda demonstration/ meal instruction Aria

  • carving out time for rest and reflection or a short ride into Coupeville for shopping and amazing views overlooking Penn Cove.
